CEO of Naghdine: Past Mistakes in the Startup Ecosystem Should Not Be Repeated

She explained that Naghdine’s primary goal and slogan is “From Idea to IPO with Naghdine ,” and the team is committed to achieving this goal. Heydari Nasab emphasized their efforts to accelerate and streamline the growth of invested businesses to help them reach their highest potential in terms of growth and profitability. She believes that to foster the startup ecosystem and attract good ideas, investors, VCs, and CVCs must avoid repeating past mistakes and should keep the startup ecosystem vibrant by leveraging Iran’s market capabilities.

Heydari Nasab continued, noting that the Naghdine Corporate Venture Capital Fund operates under the supervision of the Innovation and Prosperity Fund, with a registered capital of about 10 million dollors. The fund focuses on four key areas: advanced and emerging technologies, industry and mining, health and food security, and multimedia and tourism. Naghdine aims to be actively involved in the business process post-investment, utilizing its extensive experience and shareholder network to support founders in reaching their maximum growth potential in the market.

She added, “Our approach is to accompany and co-invest, and we are organizing events from the Caspian Sea to the Persian Gulf starting in September to attract talent from the north to the south.”

During the visit, managers from Tourism Bank, Naghdine , and Ryan Tose’e Paya toured the Azadi Innovation Factory and signed cooperation agreements with Hamava, V-Cast Innovation Center, Planet Innovation Center, DigiNext, and Hanafarmad. The managers also discussed their capacities for collaboration, ways to keep the startup ecosystem vibrant, and introduced their teams to Naghdine Venture Capital for continued cooperation.
