The Secretary of the Supreme Council of Cyberspace announced that platforms blocked by technical means will be available to the people in line with the country’s laws.
According to Iran digital economy annotation, The secretary of the Supreme Council of Cyberspace said about the availability of blocked foreign platforms: “These platforms are being tested by technical means to be available to the public.”
Mohammad Amin Aghamiri, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Cyber Space, on Saturday evening, 26 March, on the sidelines of the meeting of the Supreme Council of Cyber Space, stated in this regard: “We had announced in our previous mechanism that the foreign platform should make a commitment and considering the experience One year and no progress in this field, we found an alternative solution.”
Aghamiri explained that the platforms are either available, or blocked, or they have sanctioned us: “Regarding the sanctioned platforms, they should be given permission to break the embargo so that they can be accessible to the people. In the case of the blocked ones, someone should conduct negotiations on behalf of the platforms or through intermediaries regarding compliance with the laws and regulations of the country so that these platforms can be accessible to the people.
He continued: “Activities have been started so that foreign platforms operate with technical tools and in line with the laws and framework of the country. Its test samples have also been successful. Also, domestic platform specialists have been able to make foreign platforms available to people in line with the framework of laws and regulations using technical tools.
