The Headquarters for Removing Production Obstacles has obliged the Ministry of Security to submit its plans for banning the import of push-button mobile phones in 1403.
According to Iran digital economy annotation, the Headquarters for Removing Production Obstacles has issued a resolution according to which the Home Appliances and Office Industries Office of the Ministry of Security must plan to “prevent the importation of push-button mobile phones”.
This resolution, which was approved in the 164th session of the Headquarters for Facilitation and Removal of Production Obstacles, in addition, required the Office of Home Appliances and Office Industries to present its plans regarding “facilitation and how to allocate currency and support mobile phone manufacturing units.”
In this resolution, the headquarters for removing obstacles to production has referred to the resolutions of the 145th and 156th sessions. It is interesting to note that almost all the recent approvals of the headquarters for removing production obstacles are available in the “National Laws and Regulations Information Base”, but there is no sign of these two approvals.
