After about a year and a half, the European Union has removed the name of “Abr Arvan” from its sanctions list.
According to Iran digital economy annotation, It was 23 Aban 1401 that the European Union sanctioned Abr Arvan for reasons such as playing a role in government projects and the Ministry of Communications to create a national version of the Internet.
After this incident, Abr Arvan announced in a statement that he failed in the “media war against rumors and falsification of reality” and failed to defend his “honesty”.
This company announced at the same time that it will try to remove this sanction through the courts.
Now the European Union has removed the name of Abr Arvan from the new list of Iranian sanctioned individuals and companies.
In response to this decision, Abr Arvan wrote on his Instagram page: “Following Arvancloud’s complaint and submission of technical and legal documents to the European Court of Justice, this company was removed from the EU sanctions list.
“Arvancloud welcomes this decision of the Council of Europe and will continue its legal actions in international courts and authorities.”
