The head of the computer trade union organization of the country says that 70% of the companies that come to Tehran from the cities fail and the imbalance in the distribution of facilities will face a disaster in Tehran
According to the IDEA, Seyed Hassan Hashemi, head of the country’s computer trade union organization, on the second day of the 10th annual conference on electronic banking and payment systems, expressed the problems caused by centralization in Tehran with a critical approach and said: “In last year’s conference, we discussed the issue on behalf of NSR We talked about the virtual free zone, but the statesmen did not pay attention to our words, and the UAE did this before us.
I hope our words will be heard and paid attention to this year. Because centralism and capital-centeredness ultimately confronts the residents of the capital with major problems and disasters. Tehran’s traffic shows the same issue.
Hashemi continued to explain: I will start with the discussion of this material, 44% of the owners of this material are in Tehran, even the statistics of Alborz should be seen in practice in Tehran, and in fact, the percentage of Alborz is added to Tehran.
He continued: tax exemption and centralized facilities in Tehran have caused 20% of companies to migrate to Tehran, and this imbalance in justice between provinces has created unbalanced growth.
According to Hashemi, 34% of Tehran’s banking transactions are accounted for by the provinces, and according to Eco Iran’s report, 60% of the facilities are related to Tehran. He explained: This damage is inflicted on the capital itself and now Tehran has reached the state of explosion.
The statesmen have forgotten the tragedy of migration to Tehran
In a part of his speech, Hashemi also addressed the effects of centralization in the information technology industry and explained: 50% of the country’s 9,354 knowledge-based companies are in Tehran and 5% are in Alborz province. I believe that the statesmen have forgotten to migrate to the capital.
He added: 54 out of 109 creative houses are in Tehran. I have no problem with the development of Tehran and it is very good. But it should be the same in all provinces. Contradictory behavior in the enjoyment of legal exemptions by companies located in IT parks is not a small problem.
Despite the law’s stipulation on tax and insurance exemptions for companies that are members of the Information and Communication Technology Park across the country, only companies based in Tehran have benefited from it.
Hashemi further pointed out the effects of the country’s macro decisions and said: Decisions in the country affect all people and the ecosystem. But the views are still insular. With this type of decisions that the facilities are concentrated in Tehran, innovation and competitiveness, even the government’s income and exports will decrease. The result of all these wrong decisions is 40% inflation in the country.
The head of NSR said: Centralization causes a crisis in the development of infrastructure, and now Tehran is facing the problem of optical fiber. If balanced growth is not established, everyone will come to the capital. I ask the statesmen not to ignore the consequences of internal migration and not to make decisions insularly.
In the basics of analysis, it has been shown that the risk of a company coming from the city to the capital is very high, there is a 2% probability of success and the probability of failure is estimated at 70%.
