According to Iran digital economy annotation, iRasane, as a digital environmental advertising platform, has started its activity since 2022. On one side of this platform are brand or business owners as applicants for advertising media and on the other side are media owners.
Digital environmental advertising or DOOH
Digital outdoor advertising, also known as DOOH (Digital out-of-home), includes signs with LED screens that are installed on billboard structures and are located in public places (outside the home).
Out-of-home (OOH) advertising is a type of media that can be used in public places outside the home environment. In the past, OOH was mainly known for large and eye-catching billboards on the side of highways, but with the advancement of technology, dynamism and digitization, it has also made its way to the medium of environmental advertising.
Currently, more than half of the environmental advertising in developed countries is digital. In Iran, however, the story is completely different and it has not yet gained a significant share.
