The company Yekta Ghoghnoos Pars was the organizer of these elections, and the product ‘Aramesh’ of this company, which is a platform for conducting elections on the blockchain, was used in these elections. Elections on the blockchain represent the most up-to-date technology in the world for elections, and advanced countries are looking to implement it on a public scale.
With this method, the votes of the participants are encrypted and recorded in the distributed ledger, and after recording, a tracking identifier or the hash is issued for that vote which is at all immutable, and even the smallest changes will alter the hash, proving its security.
The seventh round of NASR organization elections was conducted swiftly, and the process proceeded smoothly. The results of these elections were also announced in less than 15 minutes after the voting period ended, which is unique in its kind.
Given the success of ‘Aramesh’ in ensuring security and tranquility in elections, it appears that we will witness more elections being held on a blockchain platform in the future, and quite possibly in the not-so-distant days, larger elections such as presidential elections may be conducted in a decentralized manner across the world.
