According to Iran digital economy annotation, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology announced in a meeting with the members of the Central Council of the Nasr Organization of the country and the provinces that in the last decade, good things have happened in the digital field of the country’s business environment, but according to him, we are far from the ideal point in this field, and therefore, “speeding up The rhythm of efforts” is essential in this context.
Sattar Hashemi stated that “I believe in the presence of the private sector in the field of communication and information technology” among the members of Nasr Council of the country, who are managers of the private sector and private companies, and added:
The private sector was trusted in the country’s real estate and documents registration organization, and today we see the participation of 6 or 7 knowledge-based companies in the activities of the registration organization.
He also announced his readiness to cooperate to resolve energy imbalances and increase productivity in the fields of industries, mines, oil and health in order to achieve these goals by using “smart management of energy and information technology”.
Hashemi further pointed out the opportunities and capacities of expanding activities and cooperation in the international space, especially the market of Central Asian countries, and called for the design of an “operational roadmap” for an active and maximum presence in these countries.
The Minister of Communications, who recently visited Kazakhstan to participate in the SCAP Ministerial Meeting, saw the countries of Central Asia willing to cooperate and interact. According to him, these countries are interested in cooperation with Iran in the fields of infrastructure, startups, development of systems, services and space economy.
Despite such a desire in Central Asian countries, Hashemi emphasized the need to increase productivity and income in the field of communication and information technology and believes that it is necessary to use the capacity of the countries of the region in this field and create new markets with multiple functions.
According to him, in addition to focusing on the maximum use of the capacity of countries and emerging economic powers such as “BRICS”, interaction with the member countries of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) and “SCOPE”, as one of the five regional commissions of the United Nations, will increase.
