According to Iran digital economy annotation, the Commission for the Regulation of Communications, in its meeting No. 349, updated the tariff model for the services that can be provided in the government service counter offices and rural communication and information technology (ICT) offices. This meeting was held on October 30 this year, but the approval of the regulatory approval by the market regulation headquarters was delayed by several months.
The new resolution of the Commission for the Regulation of Communication Regulations replaces the previous resolution of this commission, which was approved in January 2019.
According to Resolution 349 of the Regulation Commission, 9 services will be offered at government and rural ICT counter offices with new rates. This decision was taken “in order to increase the quality of service provision”.
According to the resolution of the commission, the Regulatory Organization of Radio Communications is obliged to submit a report on the results of its implementation to the commission 6 months after the implementation of this resolution.
