The memorandum of understanding for the creation of a specialized mining technology market was signed between Iran’s national technology market network and Iran’s Mines and Mineral Industries Development and Modernization Organization (IMIDRO).
According to Iran digital economy annotation, according to the news headquarters of the Inotex 2024 exhibition, “Majid Vafaifard”, the director of Imino (Mining and Mineral Industry Innovation Center of Iran) said about this memorandum: “The creation of a specialized mining technology market will be done on behalf of Imidro and with the implementation of Imino. This memorandum of understanding is signed between Mehdi Saffarinia, head of Pardis Technology Park and Mohammadreza Movasaghinia, head of IMIDRO, to help improve the mining industry in the country.
He added: “This memorandum is a link between the mine and the country’s innovation ecosystem.” As it seems, this memorandum can help the traditional sector of the country in the field of mining to communicate with knowledge-based and startup companies and be a great help to solve the problems of the mining industry. Mining industries can report their problems to these companies and get technological solutions.
Referring to the purpose of this memorandum, Mohammad Saleh Khaleghi, the secretary of Iran’s national technology market network, said: “According to the technological needs of the mining sector and the identification of 300 items of imported goods, the specialized mining fan market was opened. In this way, by observing the whole country and examining the available capacities, we will meet the needs of this area and help in some way to invest in the mining area.”
Mojtaba Jabbaripour, Vice President of Innovation Development of Pardis Technology Park, continued: “With the participation of the stakeholders of the mining industry, we were able to meet the needs of this field by granting Imidro the specialized mining Technology market agency. “Technology market provides an infrastructure for the exchange of innovation, and its specialized management will be carried out by Imidro.”
