Smartech, which operates in the marketing technology industry, will soon see key changes in its management team.
According to Iran digital economy, based on an internal email sent to the entire Smartech team, “Mazdak Pakzad” and “Alireza Mazloumi”, the two founders of Smartech, will leave their management roles in the company in the near future. This decision is apparently influenced by the wishes of the senior managers of Digikala Holding.
Digikala, as a Smartech investor, is apparently looking to align Smartech’s strategies with its macro goals as much as possible, and the new CEO also comes with several years of experience from Digikala’s business insight team.
According to the email sent by the founders to the Smartech team, “Mazdak Pakzad”, the co-founder and current CEO, will be with the Smartech team as the chairman of the board in the near future. “Alireza Mazloumi”, who is currently the Deputy Technology Officer (CTO) of Smartech, will focus on strategic and long-term projects.
The new CEO of Smartech will be “Sadegh Mohsennia”. He joined Digikala Group about 4 years ago and has played a role in various positions from Performance Marketing Manager to Senior Growth Manager. He has a history of being in Tapsell Group and managing “Metrix” company in his career. Sadegh Mohsennia is now going to be added to the Smartech team as the Deputy CEO and after spending an “onboarding” period, he will take over the leadership of Smartech as the CEO.
