The head of the Civil Aviation Organization announced the ban on charter flights during the days of Nowruz 1403 and said: We deal with expensive airlines.
According to Iran digital economy annotation, Mohammad Mohammadi Bakhsh, head of the Civil Aviation Organization, said: “Necessary arrangements have been made to provide foreign exchange resources to the airlines. Further, coordination was done with the flight network. Planning has been done for high-traffic routes such as Mashhad, Najaf, Kish and cities with high demand.”
Referring to the market monitoring and control program, the head of the Civil Aviation Organization said: In this regard, we corresponded with the Administrative Court of Justice regarding the latest status of the vote. For this purpose, it was announced that the airline organization should wait until the decision of the court is issued again.
Mohammadi Bakhsh reminded: After the implementation of the court’s decision was stopped, we returned to the decision of the market regulation headquarters, i.e. the rates announced by the Civil Aviation Organization.
He announced that “we have announced the rates of domestic flights again” and added: “With the coordination of the judiciary, the Ministry of Justice, the Penitentiary, the prosecutor and the relevant security agencies, we are blocking the domain and network of unauthorized sites selling tickets. In this regard, some People who caused disruption in the ticket market have also been arrested.
He emphasized: We have dealt with airlines that do not comply with the approved rates and we are doing so. According to the announcement of the aviation organization, the judiciary has imposed heavy fines on the offending airlines.
Reminding that “we have had two successful experiences in this field during the last Nowruz and this year’s Arba’een” regarding charter flights during the days of Nowruz 1403, Mohammadi Bakhsh added: the airline organization completely canceled charter flights, but due to the issues related to the free zones and Kasbah of this regions, we allowed charter flights tickets to be sold in Kish, Qeshm and some oil regions.
The head of the Civil Aviation Organization stressed that charter flights are prohibited on all domestic routes, and about the overselling of domestic flights such as Kish-Tehran on some sites, he said: the rates approved by the Civil Aviation Organization must be observed; Through the airports and the website of the Civil Aviation Organization, we have also announced that we will present the high-selling reports in writing both to the punishments and to the judiciary.
