Registering the product ID in the comprehensive trade system was required

Obtaining the product ID before registering the order in the comprehensive trade system became mandatory and the connection of the comprehensive trade system with the customs system entered a new stage.

According to Iran digital economy annotation, obtaining the product ID at the time of placing an order based on the items announced by the office of machinery and production equipment, mining and agriculture of the Ministry of Security has been announced as mandatory in the comprehensive trade system since November 5. Based on this, the comprehensive trade system will be connected with the customs system to obtain the product ID at the time of order registration, and part of the tasks of the Ministry of Samt and Customs will be implemented in this field.

This requirement was referred by Narges Bagheri Zomorodi, Director General of Export and Import Regulations Office of the Ministry of Privacy, to Kourosh Jedi Sani, Head of the Center for Data and Information Technology and Cyberspace Security.

Also, according to Article 13 of the Law on Combating Goods and Currency Smuggling, the Ministry of Security is obliged to define identifiers for all goods. Abouzar Jamshidvand, Director General of Agricultural, Construction and Mining Machinery Office of the Ministry of Security, in a letter to the Director General of Technical and Engineering Services Office , has announced his readiness to establish the requirement to register import orders.

In this letter, it is stated: “According to the emphasis of the Central Headquarters for Combating Goods and Currency Smuggling and taking into account the emphasis of the 90th Parliament Commission regarding the connection of the comprehensive trade system to the customs system, according to the investigations carried out with the colleagues of the Commodity Identification System, the existing headings In the product ID system, it fully covers the prices in the appendix.” Agricultural machinery office, Construction and Mining Machinery has announced its readiness to establish the requirement to register import orders.
