Mahda satellite is a 32 kg satellite from the series of lightweight satellites of the Iran Space Research Institute, which is designed to test advanced satellite subsystems.
Today, for the first time, three Iranian satellites were launched simultaneously with the Phoenix satellite, and “Mahda” satellites and two other nano satellites were successfully put into orbit an hour ago.
According to Iran digital economy annotation, Mahda satellite is a 32-kilogram satellite from the series of lightweight satellites of the Iran Space Research Institute, which was designed and built to test developed satellite subsystems.
The main mission of this satellite is to check the accuracy of the Phoenix satellite carrier’s performance in multiple injections of space cargo in low earth orbit and to evaluate the performance of some new designs and the reliability of indigenous technologies in space.
“Mahda” satellite is made of lightweight satellites of Iran Space Research Institute for testing developed satellite subsystems. The main mission of this satellite is to check the accuracy of the “Phoenix” satellite carrier in the multiple injection of space cargoes in the low earth orbit and to evaluate the performance of some new designs and the reliability of indigenous technologies in space.
“Eisa Zarepour”, the Minister of Communications, said about the Phoenix satellite carrier:
“Thanks to God, the 11th launch in the 13th government was successfully carried out and for the first time, the Phoenix satellite simultaneously carried the Mahda satellite and 2 other research payloads successfully in the contract orbit and the Mahda signal.” It was also received.”
One of the nanosatellites named Univers 2 was built by “Sa Iran” company and is designed to prove the positioning technology of the space station. This nanosatellite provides the possibility of determining the position locally and independently of global positioning systems, for ground receivers.
Another nanosatellite called Hatef 1 is also made from cube satellites of Sairan company to prove narrowband communication technology using Internet of Things. Also, “Phoenix” satellite carrier with two-stage liquid fuel was built in the Ministry of Defense. In its seventh research launch, this satellite carrier was able to open a new window in the country’s space launches by injecting multiple satellites.
