Okala company was valued at $11M and almost all its shares, 99.99%, were transferred to “Hasti E-commerce innovators”, which owns Tapsi.
According to Iran digital economy annotation, before this transfer, Okala’s shares were distributed between two companies: 57% of it belonged to “Ofogh Koroush” and 43% belonged to “Koroush E-commerce Expansion”.
Okala’s valuation has been officially approved by a judicial expert. According to “Ofogh Koroush”, this transfer has been made in order to strengthen capabilities in the digital field and improve the infrastructure of online business. Okala online store, as an online supermarket, started its activity in 2017. This store offers all the products available in the branches of Ofogh Koroush in Tehran to customers, and users can place their order through the Okala application.
