Amir Hossein Rad, CEO of Nobitex, responded in a Twitter thread to the discussions surrounding the red-flagging and potential exposure of addresses on this platform due to Nobitex being added to Arkham, a blockchain data analysis platform.
According to Iran digital economy annotation, Rad stated in the thread that there is evidence suggesting these analysis services are paying to identify the addresses of Iranian platforms.
He mentioned that measures like asset distribution, multiple hot wallets, and periodic address changes do not alter this inherent transparency. The addresses of platforms like Binance, OKX, and others are also present on blockchain analysis services, just like Nobitex.
In this thread, the risk facing all Iranian platforms was highlighted, and Rad emphasized the need for collaboration among the players in this field to counter and manage the situation.
It was also mentioned in this Twitter thread: As long as users’ assets are with us at Nobitex, the responsibility for ensuring and guaranteeing their security lies with us. However, after the assets are transferred to foreign platforms, the responsibility for maintaining privacy largely falls on the user, and this is not specific to Nobitex.
Recently, Nobitex was added to the list of exchanges on the Arkham platform, where it is claimed that addresses owned by Nobitex have been publicly exposed. As a result, transactions with these addresses could lead to the red-flagging of transactions and users’ balances.
