The job fair of Iran is held with the aim of providing human resources and creating an ecosystem for job seekers, entrepreneurs and companies. According to the organizers of this exhibition, immigration is fueling this shortage.
According to Iran digital economy annotation, Mohammad Sharif Khani, Vice President of Financial and Administrative Affairs of Sharif University of Technology and Head of Iran Job Fair, said in a press conference today (23rd of January) that was held in Sharif Technology Tower: Iran Job Fair is an event to attract job seekers in job environments.
He explained about the number of companies present in this exhibition: This year, the sixth edition of this exhibition will be held in Milad Tower, Tehran, with the presence of 70 companies in various fields of information technology, software, medicine and medicine, petrochemical and food industries.
Referring to the importance of this exhibition for job seekers, Sharif Khani said: This event is a platform for all those who are looking for work and a better job position. In this situation, the companies can also find the forces they need.
The head of the Iran Job Fair pointed out that this event has been held 13 times so far and continued: So far, this fair has been held inside the university and the last 5 times have been held outside the university, and during the 13 times, 3,800 people have been recruited in job environments.
According to Sharif Khani, so far, about 70 organizations and companies are present at the exhibition, introducing 1,400 job opportunities. This number has grown by 50% compared to last year. Also, this year, 20 educational workshops and career counseling are included in the program of this event.
The vice president of financial and administrative affairs of Sharif University of Technology announced that the number of job positions introduced in the exhibition last year was 1,100 and said that according to estimates, the number of visitors to this exhibition last year was 20,000.
According to Sharif Khani, companies and job seekers will be contacted after the exhibition. According to the companies, in the previous year, about 4,000 people were recruited and employed during the days of the exhibition.
Referring to the concerns of CEOs of companies, he said: supply of human resources is one of the main challenges of managers. One of the reasons for this need is the development of companies, and immigration definitely fuels this need.
In the continuation of the meeting, Moqdad Velai, the founder of Jobvision, said: This year we will have one of the most diverse exhibitions. We are trying to be selective this year because we have participants with high diversity in the field of industry, automobile, petrochemical, electronic goods, information technology, hardware, software, etc.
About 60 top organizations, including Irancell, Hamrah Aval, Hamkaran System, Mapna, Nestle, Nilper, Goldiran and many organizations active in IT and online services, consumer and fast moving goods, automotive, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, telecom and petrochemical industries in Iran Labor Fair will be present as an exhibitor.
The Iran job fair will be held in collaboration with Sharif University of Technology, Jobvision and the Ministry of Security on 25th to 27th of Bahman, during which 1400 job positions will be introduced.
