Holders of paper licenses from the Information Technology Organization of Iran have been mandated to obtain a Yekta identifier.
According to IDEA, Bita Kiamehr, the Director-General of the Office of Communications and Information Technology, referring to the requirement for electronic issuance of business licenses, stated: All paper licenses issued by the Information Technology Organization of Iran in nine categories are only valid until the end of this year. Holders of these licenses are obligated to convert their paper licenses into electronic licenses to obtain a Yekta identifier or QR Code.
She mentioned that in accordance with the law facilitating the issuance of business licenses in the country, business licenses that do not have a Yekta identifier will lose their validity starting from the beginning of the year 1403 [the Iranian calendar], and they will not be able to continue their activities. In the first phase, five licenses, including certificates for security assessment of software products, grading certificates for data center auditing service providers, competence certificates for data center auditing entities, technical certificates for software products, and health and authenticity verification certificates for software, are eligible for registration of requests for issued licenses. Necessary notifications will be made subsequently for licenses related to security services in the fields of management, technical, operational, and educational in the space of production and exchange of information.
The process of obtaining a Yekta identifier for licenses
Kiamehr explained the process of obtaining a Yekta identifier for licenses as follows: Holders of paper licenses from the Information Technology Organization of Iran should, in the first instance, visit the Mojavez.Ir website and complete the authenticity certificate request form for their license. After providing the necessary information, the request form is sent to the electronic services system (special portal) of the Information Technology Organization of Iran. Following verification and review of the license by the relevant experts, the result is sent to the national license portal, and upon confirmation, the Yekta license identifier, or QR Code, is issued.
According to the Information Technology Organization, the Director-General of the Office of Communications and Information Technology stated that by replacing electronic licenses with old paper licenses, applicants for services from holders of licenses from the Information Technology Organization of Iran can check the authenticity of the license and its details by visiting the Qr. Mojavez.Ir website.
