The member of the Computer Trade Union Organization called embargo, mechanisms of money transfer and commercial exchange in the international space as limitations of the software industry and emphasized that human power is the main capital of any software company
According to the Iran digital economy annotation, Hesam Asadi – Head of Customer Relationship Management Commission of Nasr Tehran, stating that unfortunately today the software industry is not an attractive industry and not much investment is made in this field, he stated: In fact, capital injection is not made in this field at all, if It can be one of our productive industries and by the way, progress. We have very good talents in this field in the country who can earn currency for the country in the simplest way, but due to the limitations we are dealing with today, the attractiveness of this industry has gone away.
He called the embargo, the mechanisms of money transfer and commercial exchange in the international space among the limitations of the software industry and added: If these limitations and concerns did not exist, this industry would have progressed easily.
Also, several factors are influential in the unattractiveness of this industry; For example, in inflationary conditions, software pricing does not grow in proportion to other parts. It is understandable and well established for us that the rate of hardware grows according to the inflationary and currency space, but this view usually does not exist in the field of software.
Human power is the main capital of any software company
Stating that these conditions affect the situation of software companies, Asadi noted: Everyone is looking to make savings in the software field. If this industry can be very productive. When software companies can’t benefit enough, and on the other hand, the official pricing that is done by the trade union system, can’t gain acceptance, and the organization doesn’t try hard enough to make this happen between government institutions and all the institutions that do software work.
everyone turns to cheap selling because they have to survive. So that they can turn their business around and not have to close down. Unfortunately, many were forced to make this decision.
Emphasizing that human power is the main capital of any software company, he continued: Unfortunately, we cannot satisfy the many expert personnel we have in the country. When there is a crisis of human resources and we are not able to provide proper services, this cycle and vicious circle weakens the country in terms of this type of capital and damages our digital economy industry.
The main source of creativity and innovation is expert and enthusiastic manpower
Emphasizing that the main source of creativity and innovation is an expert, happy and eager workforce, he said: When various restrictions are imposed on software companies, it is natural that we move away from this space day by day. When we examine the conditions of the years when the price of software was set, we find that those years were much more creative and innovative and the influence of companies in society was also very high.
Asadi said about Iran’s position in the field of technology: I can boldly say that in the last five years, we were on the edge of technology in terms of tools, and our human forces were among the most experienced. But today, if the current trend continues, the software industry will face problems. The large companies that receive different support may remain, but the small and medium-sized companies that are the main arms of the case will decline.
He stated that the indicator of the state of the country’s software industry is the situation and conditions of small and medium-sized companies, and stated: When the situation of the private sector is not good, it means that we are talking about a damage in this industry, when they are doing well, it means that The equations of this part of the economy of the industry are going correctly and good things will happen over time.
He continued: Now there are big companies that are still in a good balance due to their age and many customers. Some companies are also in good condition due to the support they receive from different places. But others enter this field because of their love and interest in the software industry, and by accepting a thousand and one hardships, they try to make a way and move forward.‘
Emphasizing that sometimes the issues and problems of businesses and start-ups are not among the priorities, Asadi clarified: Pay attention to the filtering that was done last year. Many businesses collapsed and people’s lives changed. Unfortunately, at that time, we could see that some people in the guild are looking to take advantage of these conditions.
Hope, the most important indicator that keeps the software field alive
Referring to the conditions of software industry entrepreneurs, Asadi noted: The most important indicator that keeps this field alive is hope. We have many talented, intelligent and promising young people, if the field of software and business develops and there is hope in this space, it is a game changer and people who enter this field can change the conditions. If they change completely, then the economy will grow very well.
According to him, soft areas are areas that do not have many logistical restrictions and you can do many things very easily. Unfortunately, a situation has arisen that if you want to do international work, you must first register a company outside of Iran and take all your income there and subordinate all the activities you do in the country there.
