According to the IDEA, Rahim Fallahzadeh said about the implementation of the Jihadi movement’s plan to develop fiber optic telecommunications to homes (Najma) in Khuzestan: the implementation of this plan is to build the capacity of 125 thousand ports and hand over 98 thousand ports to domestic and commercial applicants in Khuzestan province.
He added: The Najma project is being implemented in Khuzestan with an investment of 4 thousand billion Rials from the internal resources of Iran Telecommunication Company and in order to meet the needs of customers.
Khuzestan region telecommunication director said: The implementation of this plan is expected by the end of 2025, but considering that the Khuzestan region telecommunication company has been developing and expanding the optical fiber network since the past years, this project will be completed in Khuzestan by the end of 2024. became.
Fallahzadeh stated: Based on the predictions and actions taken in the first phase of this plan, 19 thousand services will be handed over to the domestic and commercial applicants of the province and this phase will be completed by the end of this year.
He continued: According to the plans made, the communication infrastructure of Khuzestan will be upgraded from copper wire to optical fiber in the Najma plan, and optical fiber will reach the doors of homes and businesses so that people can benefit from this favorable capacity in the field of communication.
Khuzestan region’s director of telecommunications noted: moving towards digital transformation and creating smart city infrastructure, the possibility of subscribers benefiting from 300 megabits per second broadband, development of education and health are among the goals and benefits of the implementation of the Jihadi Fiber Telecommunication Movement (Najma) project.
