The CEO of Fanap Holding emphasized that if we do not go towards universalization, cheapening, and quality of education, the future generation of this country will be an underprivileged generation from the point of view of education.
According to Iran digital economy annotation, according to Fanap Public Relations and Branding Report, Dr. Shahab Javanmardi, in the “Co-thinking the Future of Education with Digital Innovations” meeting, which was held on the morning of Monday, September 23, at the same time as the Day of Educational Technologies, by the Digital Innovation and Transformation Center of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce and the Computer Trade Union Organization of the country, one He called the issue of social capital as one of the major challenges that the society and the governance system are facing and said: due to the lack of the necessary social capital, many changes and transformations that we have to witness more or less today are happening slowly and we have not been able to make the changes. Let’s determine what is needed in the society.
Referring to the speech of the president, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, on the subject of justice and inclusiveness, he added: “They have understood this very early on that if we are going to increase the social capital, we must look at the members of the society, and until we can, we will not be able to do anything in the category of justice.” If we don’t do something about the society’s needs, including financial, health and educational inclusion, we can’t expect that there will be a movement towards increasing social capital.
The vice-chairman of Tehran Chamber of Commerce pointed out two possible ways in the issue of inclusiveness and continued: Either we should look for the distribution of resources at the community level as in the past and continuously distribute our limited and diminishing resources to members of the society, which is a step zero and justice. It is distributed or to create a lasting flow in the country and that will be achieved when we empower the members of the society to such an extent that the society can observe the continuity of inclusiveness in itself. This will not be realized unless the discussion of educational justice and educational empowerment takes place.
Dr. Javanmardi noted: Experience shows that if we want our country to correct its path, the place to invest in is the field of education for the future generation. Because change in the current active generations is difficult, it takes time and requires infrastructure and facilities, and above all, it requires a change of attitude, but it can be sought in the next generation.
The CEO of Fanap Holding stated that from every angle we look at the issue of educational justice and access to educational facilities and resources, it is one of the most important measures that society should pay attention to at various levels, from governance to economic activists and individuals, and continued: Fortunately, In our society, families pay attention to this issue and spend from the necessities of their lives to increase the quality of their children’s education.
He said: “One of the most serious approaches to realize inclusiveness in society is the use of technology and technological tools for accessibility to quality education, but there are challenges in front of us in this way.” The first challenge is that, like many other categories, when we want to use the magic of technology, we solve problems in the same way as in the past, but technologically. In other words, we want to solve the problems technologically in the same way as before. While the problem needs a new formulation in the first place.
Dr. Javanmardi added: We must first redefine our problem in educational learning and share it with policymakers and then see what role technology wants to play at the level of policymaking, leadership, appropriate content, and evaluation, and after that Industry activists should supply services and products according to that.
Referring to the solution of the problem from the point of view of economy and industry activists, he said: The output and consensus of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce and the computerized trade union system of the country as two upstream institutions in this field should be a simple and concise document to be presented to the policy makers, including the parliament, the government, and the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution.
Vice President of Tehran Chamber of Commerce emphasized: We must share our view in this document for this educational transformation and learning to happen with a technological flavor and specify what role each of these elements should play in this transformation.
Shahab Javanmardi said: With more than one million students, we are among the countries in the world that have the lowest amount of education per capita. If there is no change in these conditions and if we do not go towards universalization, cheapening and quality improvement of education, the future generation of this country will be an underprivileged generation from the point of view of education.
He added: We must create a common understanding at the level of economic activists and upstream institutions of businesses, as well as at the policy maker level, and with a national division of labor, instead of constantly looking for the distribution of available facilities for learning, we can somehow educate the future generation. empower and nurture so that a wealth-creating and hopeful generation can create a proud Iranian.
