The winning design of the Digikala Prize competition was implemented on Digikala packaging boxes with augmented reality or AR technology.
According to Iran digital economy annotation, iran and the journey of DigiKala vehicles across the country is the subject of augmented reality used for the new DigiKala boxes. This issue is consistent with the map design on the box, which is drawn using prominent signs of Iranian cities.
Last year, this project won the first place in the Digikala Prize competition, which was held on the topic of improving customer experience with Digikala packages.
In the course of this surprise, Digikala users do not need to install software to scan the QR code on the new packages and can receive rewards only through the mobile phone camera and using the smartphone browser.
After scanning the code and keeping the camera on the image, the Digikala car moves from the warehouse to the customer’s house, and upon reaching the house, a banner with Digikala’s new slogan, “A smile arrives at home”, is placed on the screen. By clicking on the banner, users will be transferred to the Digikala rewards page.
The three purchase discount codes from DigiKala, DigiPlus subscription and Fidibo subscription are rewards intended for users, and each user can use each of these discounts once.
The first Digikala Prize competition was held in 1402 and it is supposed to address one of the topics in the field of packaging in the online retail industry every year from now on. This year, the winning design affected 2 million boxes in 18 sizes, and Digikala users all over Iran will receive their purchases with this packaging and new design from the beginning of Farvardin.
