A book about the appointment system said: Several years ago, we started the appointment system in our own organization and in our private hospitals, and in 79 hospitals, we provided appointments to people through the website, mobile application, telephone, etc., both by referral and by appointment.
He continued: We can’t deal with all hospitals in the same way and we can’t give all appointments to people electronically because some people will definitely visit in person. Also, in the referral system, the person may need a specialist doctor after referral, so it is necessary that we keep some of the appointments.
The General Secretary of Information Technology of the Social Security Organization added: The percentage of online appointments is different in different provinces, that’s why we left it up to the provinces to determine the percentage of in-person and non-attendance appointments, but in general, 70% of appointments now take place in an outpatient setting.
