“At Golrang Ventures, we are not looking for strange investments in teams and illogical valuations.” Our selected startups are the ones that are included in the value chain of the group and we spend as much as we can for their growth and development. In the competitive market, we also look at interaction and growth in the market and we do not seek to eliminate competitors and make unnecessary noise.
She continues: Our thinking is that the market potential is high, and in the face of generation X and Alpha, the demand in the market will increase, and this growth will require more players in the competition field.
She emphasizes: Competition is what enables better service and a better experience for stakeholders in the market. In addition, the DNA and essence of Golrang Group has never been destructive or eliminative, because we believe that the market has enough space and growth capacity to accommodate all players.
Golrang Ventures manager Solmaz sadeghnia also explains about the investment in Alopeyk: For years, okala and Dartil (online store) were present in the Golrang ecosystem and serving users, and Zap Express served these two platforms in the field of logistics, for the development of the Q platform and Q-Commerce, we needed to develop the field of logistics.
She continues: Zap Express was the supplier of FMCG orders, and since we are moving towards becoming a leader in the FMCG market, sending this level of order requires another powerful player in the field of logistics, and we chose Alopeyk for this.

Sadeghnia also explains about the investment in Ofood: Ofood is one of the ventures of Golrang Industrial Group, but it has not been launched yet, and it will probably be presented in one of the big cities of Iran in January, and we will probably present it in Tehran a year later.
Experience has shown us that Saffron has sought to enlarge the market in every market segment it has entered, not to destroy competitors. Interaction causes competition and competition leads to better service to end users. Our strategic view is to use potentials and burning money and capital at any cost is never our choice. We have a rational view of the market without excitement.
