Divar’s statement about determining service rates with “dynamic pricing”
According to Iran digital economy annotation, with the aim of increasing the quality of services and making the cost of ads fairer for users, Divar will use the “dynamic pricing” method from April 1, 2024.
According to Divar’s statement in the car category, all ads include brand models with an average price of 180 million tomans and in the category Tehran real estate, all real estate ads in regions 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 and all active user ads in 6 provinces of Sistan and Baluchistan, North Khorasan, Ilam, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad, West Azarbaijan and Golestan based on economic indicators and statistics Officials of the Ministry of Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare have been introduced from the low-income provinces of the country, they will not include any price increase.
Divar’s public relations has published a statement regarding dynamic pricing. In this statement, it is stated: By implementing this method, we are trying to make the fees paid by business users, based on the type of services they receive, different and fairer than before. We also expect that the implementation of the dynamic pricing plan will lead to an increase in the quality of the list of Divar ads, because this form of pricing can significantly reduce the registration of duplicate, false, and unrealistic ads.
According to statistics, out of the total of 53 million annual users of Divar, about 22 million users are advertisers. 75% of these 22 million people publish their ads completely free of charge; 20% use both free and paid advertising services, and only 5% of advertisers who use Divar for business pay for all their ads.
Making Divar accessible to all people and providing equal and high-quality services to users is one of our main goals in Divar. In this regard and due to the existing unfavorable economic conditions, Divar will not have any price increase in its services in 1403 for this section of users, as follows, even for users with a business panel:
All advertisements of active users in 6 provinces of Sistan and Baluchistan, North Khorasan, Ilam, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad, West Azerbaijan and Golestan, which are introduced from the less productive provinces of the country based on economic indicators and official statistics of the Ministry of Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare.
In the car category, all ads include brand models with an average price of 180 million tomans. (Currently, more than 37% of ride and van ads on Divar have an average price of 180 million tomans)
In Tehran real estate category, all property ads in areas 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20.
Every user of Divar has the possibility to publish at least 70 free ads in different categories. This number has been determined with the aim of meeting the needs of personal users to use Divar services, and this is the reason why more than 75% of the users use the wall completely free of charge.
In the “Dynamic Pricing” scheme, the cost of publishing ads for Divar business users, in categories such as real estate and cars, is determined based on the value of the advertised property and car and will vary. Accordingly:
The lowest registration rate for car ads for business users is 54 thousand tomans, and the highest rate for registering ads in this category – which only includes 2% of all ads in this category on Divar – will be 290 thousand tomans. The highest price is related to the advertisement of luxury brands (with an average price of over 4 billion Tomans).
The lowest property ad registration rate for users who use Divar commercially is 60 thousand tomans, and the highest ad registration rate in the Tehran real estate category, which only includes 3.7% of all residential apartment ads in Tehran, will be 220 thousand tomans. This amount is related to real estate ads in areas of Tehran’s 1st district, where the average property price in this area is more than 40 billion tomans.
Our main goal of implementing the “Dynamic Pricing” plan is to make Divar service fairer and increase the quality of ads by setting prices that are appropriate for users’ consumption. As in previous years, when more than 90% of our users’ ads in low-income cities from 19 provinces of the country were published completely free on Divar, we are still trying to provide conditions so that more citizens can benefit from Divar’s services in a fair and just manner.
