Divar unveiled the new design of the category selection tool

Divar has completely redesigned this section with the aim of improving the user experience in using its category selection tool.

According to Iran digital economy annotation, this redesign is now available to about 50% of the users of the latest version of Divar Android application and will soon be activated for all users. These changes, in addition to improving the appearance, improve the user’s experience in using Divar.

The new design makes it easier for users to find the category they want on Divar. In addition, reducing page load has made it easier to find the category for users who have slow internet speeds. For the first time, advanced category search has been added to this section.

Easier and faster access

The new design allows users to reach the category they want on Divar more easily and quickly than before. Also, users will no longer see irrelevant ads to reach the desired category. For example, in the previous design, if a user wanted to go to the apartment sales category, he should first go to the real estate category, then residential sales, and finally reach the apartment sales category. With this redesign, the access path is shortened and the user reaches the desired category directly. By implementing this redesign, the user experience has been made the same in all sections of Divar to access the categories, and this tool has been placed in different sections such as the first page, the category access button at the top of the lists, and the filter section.

Better experience; Even with low speed internet

Reducing the need to load intermediate pages in the new design has made it easier for users with low internet speed to access their desired categories. In the previous design, there was also a problem of seeing the full name of some subcategories, and the user sometimes misspelled the names The missing face has been fixed in the new design. In addition to the above, the category selection button at the top of each list will now take the user to the first category selection page. This button now shows exactly where the user is in the category selection and allows for easy navigation.

Added advanced category search

Another new feature of Divar is the addition of the ability to search in categories. Users can easily find results by searching for their desired category (for example, apartment). This search is not limited to category names; You can reach the category related to your search by searching for any term. For example, by searching for the word “Pride” you will reach a list of suggested categories such as passenger cars, spare parts, transportation services, etc. and you can choose the category you want more easily.
