The Director General of the Housing Economics Office of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development announced that if the owner’s identity and postal code of the property are not provided, the real estate section of Divar and Sheypoor platforms will be blocked until next week.
According to Iran digital economy annotation, referring to the publication of real estate ads on Divar and Sheypoor platforms, Abulfazl Norouzi said: “Sometimes brokers and traders use this platform and advertise properties that do not exist at all on these platforms.”
The director general of the housing economics office stated that according to the resolution of the Supreme Housing Council, the owner’s identity and postal code must be verified for the publication of advertisements on internet platforms. According to him, this practice is done widely and with the coordination of brokers for pricing.
Emphasizing that the properties to be advertised must be in the real estate and accommodation system, he emphasized: “If these platforms do not do this part of the web service by next week, their real estate section will be blocked with the permission of the Security Council and security devices.”
Sheypoor platform has included the national code and postal code in its authentication section, which until now has been optional for the audience to fill in this section.
