Pour Ebrahimi emphasized the need to remove existing obstacles to improve communication networks in Kerman province
27 Irancell communication site was put into operation in Kerman with the presence of the Chairman of the Economic Commission of the parliament.
According to the Iran digital economy annotation, at noon on Friday, November 24th, 2023, the inauguration ceremony of providing mobile high-speed internet coverage in Kerman and Raver cities was held in the presence of “Mohammedreza Pour Ebrahimi Davarani”, the head of the economic commission and representative of the people of Kerman in the parliament.
Irancell communication site was opened in Tikdar village of Chatroud district of Kerman city on behalf of 27 rural and urban communication sites of this city and with a credit amounting to 160 billion tomans in total.
These 27 sites include 7 communication sites of the USO project and 20 new communication sites. By using the USO project sites, 1,686 households in 26 villages with a population of 5,700 people were covered by Irancell high-speed internet.
Pour Ebrahimi said in this ceremony that Irancell needs to support and remove some existing obstacles to improve communication networks in the province, considering the good performance it has shown: “The responsible agencies, including Kerman Municipality and other related institutions, should remove the obstacles as soon as possible. Take this operator from the front.”
It should be mentioned that in the opening ceremony of providing high-speed internet coverage for Kerman and Raver cities, Kerman Governor Ali Babaei, Hossein Sajedifar, Director General of Communications and Information Technology of the province, and a group of provincial and regional managers were present.
Irancell, the first 5G provider and the record holder of the speed and number of 5G sites in Iran, will complete the coverage of villages above 20 households assigned to Irancell in the national rural communication development plan by the end of this year and in accordance with the plans of the Ministry of Communications.
