The Technical and Vocational Training Organization of the country, in collaboration with ArvanCloud, added job competency standards in the field of cloud computing engineering to the country’s educational curricula. These standards include two job titles: “Cloud Technician” and “Cloud Processing Engineer,” which have been included in the list of job qualifications in this field after being adapted to global indicators.
According to Ideaagency and according to TVTO Public Relations, these standards are now available to interested parties and knowledge recipients on the organization’s website under codes 3512 and 2512. This is an important step towards improving the specialized skills of the workforce in the field of cloud technology.
Fatemeh Mansouri, Deputy Director of Research, Planning, and Skill Assessment at the TVTO of the country, said in this regard: “With the cooperation of ArvanCloud and based on the guidelines for compiling professional evaluation and competency standards, two job titles, cloud computing technician and cloud computing engineer, have been identified and coded, along with six competency standard titles in this field.”
She added: “Currently, two sets of competency and evaluation standards have been developed, and other standards in this field are also in the works.”
Mohammad Rahnamafard, the educational representative of ArvanCloud, who participated in defining these fields and adapting them to global standards, pointed out the importance of these standards. He said: “To formulate these standards, the most reliable global indicators from developed countries have been studied. After completing these courses, students can work as cloud computing technicians or engineers, not only in Iran, but also in the most reputable companies active in the field of cloud technology worldwide.”
