According to Iran digital economy annotation, the Director General of the Housing Economy Office announced in a TV program that if the possibility of verifying the identity of the owner and postal code is not established in the real estate section of the two platforms, Divar and Sheypoor, their real estate section will be blocked until next week. He mentioned the presence of some brokers in internet platforms for posting ads as a reason for the price increase in this market and said that if these platforms do not use this web service by next week, their real estate section will be blocked with the permission of the Security Council and security devices.
This is while since last year, these two platforms have carried out serious activities in the field of implementing the technical process of ad authentication, and Divar has also enabled its own video authentication since last year, but it seems that the strictness of the relevant institutions has intensified with the start of the moving season.
However, the CEO of Sheypoor says that they are ready to interact with the organizations and the delay in the implementation of this order is due to the technical infrastructure that must be done properly.

Besides, we don’t have any problem with this plan, because it definitely helps to reduce fake ads. But our criticism is that this plan is not effective in price control and has nothing to do with pricing and increasing prices in the housing market. The events that happen in the housing market are the result of the supply and demand imbalance, the tax on empty houses not being applied correctly, inflation and dozens of other reasons.
