“Hezardestan” Holding has recently transferred the ownership of “CafeBazaar” to Tapsell Group based on the contract signed yesterday.
According to Ideaagency, CafeBazaar was the oldest application store in Iran and of course one of the important products of Hezardastan Group, and in 2023, the number of its users reached more than 55 million.
Because of Tapsell, the two companies “Yektanet” and “Sabaidea” have been negotiating for the purchase of CafeBazaar, but in the end this contract was signed with Tapsell. This is despite the fact that during the past weeks, “Google Play” was removed from the filter and it is not clear how much this matter has affected the decision of other companies.
Also, Hezardastan Group had previously withdrawn from its stake in “Balad” router, which indicates a change in the strategy of this group to focus on other areas. Apparently, the main focus of Hezardastan is going to be on the wall platform as much as possible.
Now, it should be seen how Tapsell, as a digital advertising network, can use a platform like CafeBazaar to improve its advertising ecosystem.
Due to the importance of this issue in Iran’s technology ecosystem, it is expected that more details of this contract and the strategic goals of Tapsell and Hezardastan groups will be published soon through official statements.
