Public Relations of Alibaba Travel Company said about the reason for this company’s entry into the offline market: “Our experience of 10 years in the tourism industry has shown us that purchasing some services in the field of travel and tourism such as visas or foreign tours due to the complexity and many details in the In-Person platform It has a higher quality and also groups of the society experience a better feeling when shopping in person. As our top priority is to create a worthy travel experience for the entire community, we moved towards creating new communication channels for telesales and In-Person sales. We hope that, as we have revolutionized the online market, we can revolutionize the traditional methods of providing tourism services as well.”
The public relations of this company also said in relation to the experience of several months of operation of Alibaba’s In-Person branch in Tehran, “It is still too early to provide accurate statistics regarding the performance of In-Person branches, but in general, the reception of this branch in the 4 months since its opening has exceeded We have been waiting. Until today, the most demand of customers of this branch is related to foreign flights and the most frequented time period was March 2023 and May 2024.
Alibaba Travel Company has also announced that it will open more branches in Tehran in the coming year and will expand its activities in telephone and In-Person sales channels, along with online activities.
