AI National Park is set up in Tehran

Mojtaba Alizadeh, the scientific assistant to the President, said that the AI National Park will be launched in Abbas Abad, Tehran. This park is expected to be fully operational in the next 2 years.

According to Ideaagency, announcing this news, Alizadeh added: “During the scientific vice president’s visit to the lands of Abbas Abad, a memorandum of understanding was signed to set up a “AI National Park” in this area.”

Pointing to the comprehensive design appropriate to the dimensions of these lands, he emphasized: “This park is going to become a place to provide tangible smart services to the people. These services include various fields, including the Internet of Things (IoT) and demo versions of Iran’s AI national platform.

Alizadeh invited all companies active in the field of AI to participate in this national project and said: “This park can become a suitable platform for the development and commercialization of new technologies in the country.”

The scientific assistant to the president added: “Currently, comparative studies of AI parks are being conducted worldwide, so that this park can be launched in the best possible way by taking advantage of global experiences.”

Emphasizing the establishment of a part of AI processing infrastructure in this park, he added: “Due to the existence of processing ponds in the country, one of the hubs of fast processing technology and diverse facilities will be established in this park. The facilities of the park will be available to users, the general public and researchers who need appropriate infrastructure for their research.

Alizadeh also mentioned the collaborations with large institutions, companies and enterprises to launch this park and said: “These collaborations are seriously on the agenda and we hope that this project will be fully operational within the next 2 years.”
