The General Director of Advertising of the Ministry of Guidance announced the Fars Award event at Inotex 2024 in Pardis Technology Park: We hope that advertising will become the focus of movement, dialogue and compromise in the country as well as between countries.
According to Iran digital economy annotation, according to the news headquarters of the 13th Technology and Innovation Exhibition (Inotex 2024), Abbas Mohammadian added in this ceremony: Advertising has an ancient history in ancient Iranian culture, today we are celebrating the 50th anniversary of this event. He said: “Today, we should consider the blessings and results of half a century of activity in the field of advertising as an honor and a roadmap for the future.” Today, in the place of the technology park, where creativity and technologists gathered, today we owe the past efforts of people in advertising and these efforts should continue.”
According to Mohammadian, the World Advertising Organization can have important programs in culture and other issues: “The potential that is in advertising is not hidden in any tool, our future generation needs to find an unbreakable link with the world through advertising.” He reminded: “The contribution of the youth in advertising is very small and this capacity should be given to the youth.”
Mohammadian believes that today advertising firstly gives awareness, it leads to awareness of how to live, and after awareness, knowledge follows, and after that, behaviors emerge in society: “We are now in an ocean of advertising that The youth have been forgotten, the young generation must pass this on to the next generation.” He further stated: “In order to protect the classical and ancient homeland of Iran, they need to make advertising a spice of their work. Today, we have a place in the field of technology and we can also have a place in the field of advertising.”
At the end of his speech, he said: “Advertising is a lasting document of any event. If our managers approach advertising and use it to serve cultural, political and social trends, the social responsibility of the officials will become much heavier. The society knew that we were not facing disappointment today, those in charge of advertising have a strong responsibility in connecting the first generation of advertising with the next generation.”
It should be mentioned that this event is named after “Fars Ibrahim Abu Hamad” as one of the greatest generation of media and advertising creators in the 20th century.
“Fars” award in the field of social responsibility and nurturing future stars focuses on introducing people who have played a special role for the excellence of the next generation and preparing the conditions for the development of young talents.
The World Advertising Organization as an international organization in the field of communication and market (MARCOM) since 1938 (7 years before the formation of the United Nations) has been involved in standardization, regulation, regulatory design and pre-regulations, training, technology transfer and knowledge transfer. It deals in the international arena and today, with more than 86 global members, it has the highest level of influence among professionals and young people in the field of media, marketing, advertising and market development.
Fars Abu Hamad, who has been working in the International Advertising Organization (IAA) for five decades, has served as vice president for four terms and as president and secretary general for three terms, is known as the most effective supporter of the growth and excellence of young people in underprivileged countries, and many elders Advertising and media in Asian and European countries are among his students.
This event was held at the Inotex stage with the presence and speeches of prominent professors and key figures from the Netherlands, Australia, Russia, China, Turkey, Malaysia, Lebanon and a number of members of the International Advertising Organization (IAA) board of directors.
