According to Iran digital economy annotation, the digital identity authentication system of Iranians (HODA) and the plan for electronic registration of the birth certificate of the baby and the plan for sharing the printing and issuance of the birth certificate were unveiled and put into operation. In addition, to determine the name of the interactive system, the name has been placed in the shared portal.
With the introduction of the digital identity authentication system of Iranians called Hoda, the Registration Organization announced that with the cooperation of the Ministry of Health, from now on, the issuance and printing of the birth certificate of the baby will be done offline and electronically. This system is available in the Hoda section of the registration site.
According to the announcement of this organization, the digital authentication system helps to reduce the forgery of birth certificates, reduce the costs of printing physical certificates and prevent the possibility of user error in entering action information so that birth information can be sent online to the Civil Registry Organization.
Also, according to the announcement of the Registration Organization, the applicant for birth registration by creating the necessary platform for the intelligent issuance of the baby’s birth certificate can enter the share window and select the desired service and then enter the tracking code of his information. It will be sent to the folder of the registration unit related to the referral and the birth certificate issuance process and will be sent to the applicant’s address.
In order to make it easier for the citizens to determine the name, the interactive name system has been placed on the Sahim portal at the address sahim.sabteahval.ir, where parents, while using the possibility of online consultation, can search and Select the desired name.
Authentication systems
Emta, Samava and Hoda authentication systems have been developed to provide e-government services.
Emta system
The centralized e-commerce authentication system has been launched by the e-commerce development center of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade (Samt). This system works with the purpose of authentication and validation of natural and legal persons in cyberspace. Among the services of Emta system, we can mention identity authentication based on national card, identity authentication based on Shahab ID (electronic identity ID of legal entities) and inquiry of authenticity and validity of digital certificates.
Samava system
The identity and access information management system was developed by Iran Information Technology Organization (FAVA). This system works with the aim of creating integrity in the identity authentication process and providing identity services to governmental and non-governmental organizations. Among the services of the Samava system, we can mention the authentication based on the Shahkar system (the government’s centralized electronic user accounts system), the authentication based on the Sana system (the electronic registration system of the judiciary), and the inquiry of the authenticity and validity of identity documents.
Hoda system
Iran’s digital identity system has been launched by the civil registration organization of the country. This system aims to provide identity services based on biometric information (such as face and fingerprint) to real persons. Among the services of the Hoda system, we can mention face-based authentication, fingerprint-based authentication, and registration and receiving a digital identity certificate (Hoda token).
