According to this vote, air ticket pricing will be done through airlines and based on market needs and the amount of demand in the market. In the fifth development plan, the liberalization of air ticket pricing was foreseen for the first time, but this law was not fully implemented by the Civil Aviation Organization, and in some periods the floor and ceiling of the price were determined by this organization. This procedure of the airline organization regularly faced protests from airlines and their associations.
At the beginning of this year, with the agreement of the airlines, the Airline Companies Association sent its proposed price list to all the airlines, and at that time an almost 50% increase in air ticket prices was predicted, but this pricing was opposed by the Civil Aviation Organization, and finally this The price increase led to the blocking of a number of websites selling plane tickets.
The head of the airline organization announced in an interview that the air ticket pricing should be done based on the approval of the market regulation headquarters and finally canceled the price list of the aviation association and communicated its price list to the airlines. and the government has no duty in this rate setting.
Although the Civil Aviation Organization had sent a new price list to airlines and platforms since the beginning of this year, but practically this price list had to be followed by ticket sales sites and platforms, and airlines and agencies ended up selling tickets at higher rates.
Last July, the Civil Aviation Authority blocked 19 sites selling plane tickets due to high prices, and before that it had suspended Alibaba’s license for the same reason. Although this problem ended after a few days by not showing the prices that were higher than the approved rate, it practically limited the possibility of selling tickets online and left it to the traditional market.
Now, based on the decision of the Court of Administrative Justice, according to the law of the fifth development plan and also the law of the sixth development plan, he must take action to make the air service ticket rates real.
Now it seems, with this vote, it will be possible to display various types of ticket rates for platforms and sites selling plane tickets. Now again, the Association of Airline Companies has sent its proposed price list to the airline companies in cooperation with the airline companies so that the companies can determine the ticket price in a certain range by following the price list.
It is not yet clear whether this vote will be accepted by the Civil Aviation Organization or finally this organization will again communicate its approved prices to these companies.
