According to the Iran digital economy annotation, after months of negotiations with the satellite internet service operator YahClick (YahClick) affiliated with Yahsat Company (YahSAT), this company officially approved Landing Right Regulation Commission on Friday 16 December at the Consulate General of Iran in Dubai Accepted the country’s communication regulations. With the signing of this document by the Yahsat operator and after going through the relevant administrative procedures, the license to operate in Iran to provide satellite internet services will be granted to this company.
The Radio Regulatory Board (RRB) of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in its last meeting and based on Iran’s complaint against Starlink, has emphasized the issue of accepting the territorial rules of the Islamic Republic of Iran by international operators to provide internet services.
