Referring to Iran’s significant progress in various fields of communication and information technology, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology announced Iran’s readiness for close and joint cooperation in the field of e-commerce based on the laws and considerations of the two countries.
According to the Iran digital economy annotation, citing the Public Relations and Information Center of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eisa Zarepour, during his visit to Iraq, in a meeting with the Iraqi Minister of Trade, Athir Daoud Al-Ghariri, said: Iran is ready. to provide his experiences in various sectors of communication and information technology to his friend and brother country Iraq.
Referring to the extensive activity of active platforms and platforms in the field of e-commerce and online stores, Zarepour stated: Iran has grown in the field of online stores, online payments, fintechs, and financial start-ups and is ready for close cooperation. and have something in common with Iraq based on the laws and considerations of the two countries.
He announced the transfer of knowledge of making, launching and satellite images in the space field and cooperation to launch a common free zone of digital economy between the two countries as other areas of cooperation between the two countries.
The Minister of Communications emphasized: In today’s era, a country that does not have digital and cyber assets such as dedicated native platforms becomes a colony of the digital world, so in order to maintain survival and independence, we must help each other to have identity and independence.
In this meeting, the Minister of Commerce of Iraq also expressed satisfaction with Iran’s capabilities and progress in the fields of electronic commerce and modern financial technologies, and mentioned his country’s interest in using the capabilities and progress of the Islamic Republic of Iran for the development of electronic commerce in Iraq.
