A user on the editorial social network raised a question about the development of fiber optics, and the Minister of Communications promised by the end of 2024 in response to this question.
According to IDEA, Minister of Communications Issa Zarepour wrote in his editorial account: “According to the plan, by the end of the year, this possibility will be provided to eight million households and businesses, and God willing, by the end of 1404 in all cities.”
A journalist who published 2 videos in an editorial about the state of internet speed on the fiber optic platform addressed the Minister of Communications and wrote: “My live test today of the fiber optic quality was held in the city of Yazd. In Yazd, there was a coffee shop with fiber optic connections established four months ago. The person I spoke with was very happy with the new service. The completion of the fiber optic project by the end of the 13th government will enable all people to enjoy the sweet taste of technology in their homes. I hope that the authorities in charge of the content layer in social media will implement effective plans to manage this layer in parallel with this project.”
In response to this user’s post, Zarepour wrote: “Our goal is to provide such a high-speed and high-quality service to all our compatriots. My colleagues and fiber optic operators are working day and night to achieve this goal.
