The Information and Communication Technology Commission of the Iran Chamber Held its Elections, Determining its Chair and Vice-Chair.
According to IDEA, In the elections for the Information and Communication Technology Commission of the Iran Chamber, Sadina Abaei has been elected as the chair. Additionally, the commission members chose Ali Farshadpour as the first vice-chair and Hamidreza Vasheghani Farahani as the second vice-chair. Mohammadreza Talaei previously held the position of commission chair for two terms.
Sadina Abaei is the founder and CEO of Simorgh Samaneh Holding, the head of the board of directors of the National Scientific Network Operator, a member of the Women Entrepreneurs Association, and holds a degree in software engineering. She is also a graduate of an MBA program from Tehran Business School. Born in 1348 (Iranian calendar), she has been actively involved in the field of communications and information technology since 2000.
In 1395 (Iranian calendar), Abaei successfully initiated the Iran Scientific Network project, which marked the first public-private partnership (PPP) in collaboration with the Iranian Organization for Scientific and Industrial Research and the Information Technology Organization of Iran. This project aimed to support the needs of research and educational communities as part of the national scientific infrastructure plan, connecting universities, research centers, educational and medical institutions, and theological institutions.
