Minister of Communications:” Platform Security Is the Responsibility of Cyber Police”

IDEA reported that Issa Zarepour, the Minister of Communications, stated during a press conference on the sidelines of a government meeting, “The security of platforms is the responsibility of the Cyber Police. However, additional measures have been planned for platforms with a large audience in terms of security. The security of no platform is the responsibility of the Ministry of Communications.”

Zarepour clarified, “In the case of messaging apps, we also assess their security on a monthly basis to ensure that nothing untoward happens to them.”
