Various sessions on “Publishing Industry in the Age of AI” focusing on technology in publishing will be held at the 36th International Book Fair. The session, which will be held in the Publishing Technologies Hall and attended by Hediyeh Ansari, an activist in the field of book promotion, will address the topic of book blogging on social networks.
According to Ideaagency, Hediyeh Ansari, an activist in the field of book introduction, stated that artificial intelligence can be used as an intelligent assistant in the field of book blogging, saying: “AI can be used in the field of book blogging. Reading the book and using AI as a creative assistant and asking it to give positive and negative reviews about the book or edit our content.”
Ansari described the book blogging profession as follows: “A book blogger is someone who works in their field of expertise, regardless of what book they are introducing. There are also people who work in this field without any particular expertise.”
She said about the necessary tools for a book blogger: “A book and book reading blogger first has a personal interest in this field, and the book she chooses is not influenced by advertising or other things. She expresses her honest criticism, whether positive or negative, and is not upset by the publisher or author complaining, and the audience is a priority for her.”
Ansari added: “Book bloggers attend press conferences and events related to the book field. The audience in the book blogging field is more aware than we need to instill a concept in them. A blogger has a limited capacity for reading. Someone who wants to do real work with limited time and spend time based on the book’s subject and content production can perhaps introduce 6-7 books a month.”
She added: “Book blogging is a job that has recently emerged, and in the virtual world, there is the possibility of preparing more attractive and exciting content. People can participate in virtual libraries and book authors’ meetings based on the content of book bloggers.”
This book activist noted the impact of AI in introducing books on social networks: “AI can provide information about best-selling books and new editions to the community of writers, translators, book bloggers, and the general audience.”
Referring to the importance of citing sources for book bloggers, she explained: “Every activity we do in the field of book introduction is a professional method of citing sources accurately so that the content is more reliable and the audience trusts it. The same goes for the AI source, because it is the audience’s right to be able to distinguish whether they are dealing with natural or artificial intelligence. AI itself also indicates which content is based on AI and makes our work more credible.”
Ansari stated that we are currently weak in the field of using artificial intelligence, adding: “Podcasts have been produced that are conversation-oriented and based on artificial intelligence, but they mispronounce a number of words. But in the transition phase, AI will improve itself and produce audiobooks with a human touch. As we know a lot about products, a podcast produced by AI is clearly produced by this intelligence. People are interested in listening to podcasts with artificial intelligence.”
She added: “The advice of artificial intelligence experts is to improve ourselves in this field. We have a safe margin of 10 years to work in this field, and we can use this time to work on our abilities.”
Ansari concluded by saying, “We are afraid of what we don’t know. If artificial intelligence takes away some possibilities from us, it will provide us with more possibilities. Let’s not look at it as destroying jobs, but rather, we can benefit from it by reducing wasteful energy and working on our own creativity.”
