Pomegranate Investment Company and representatives of IIIC have confirmed in writing that they do not intend to withdraw from Digikala.
According to Ideaagency, Alireza Kolahi, head of the Industry and Mining Commission of Iran Chamber of Commerce, announced that Pomegranate Investment Company and IIIC representatives have confirmed in writing that they have no intention of leaving Digikala and are still determined to be present in Iran.
By publishing a tweet, Kolahi dismissed the rumors about the withdrawal of foreign investors from Digikala as baseless and added: “The healthy and effective activity of Iran’s private sector is a guarantee for the longevity of investors.” He also emphasized that foreign investors not only have no plans to leave, but also emphasized the importance of cooperation with Digikala in the growth of this company.
According to the information published on Pomegranate’s website, the company (together with IIIC ) owns 11.7% of Digikala and made its first investment in this platform in 2014. Pomegranate also holds one of the five seats on Digikala’s board of directors.
