Blubank announced that it has reached 10 million users and the managers of this neobank stated that they have paid $480M loans to their customers with a default rate of three tenths of a percent over the past 2 and a half years.
According to Ideaagency, Reza Heydari, the CEO of Blubank, said at the celebration of 10 million users of this neobank that we were able to save 18 million hours of our customers’ time by providing banking services online, which is equal to 2055 years. He stated that the average age of Bluebank customers is 33 years and 10 months.
In another part of this ceremony, Amir Farshchi, the deputy CEO of Blubank, said that for the first time in Blubank, the account top-up service from any source has been offered. According to him, nearly 2 million customers have had 31 million successful transactions.
In another part of his speech, Farshchi said: “With the data we had, we realized that people use different accounts to manage their finances, and that’s why we designed the service box.”
The deputy CEO of Blue said that in the last two and a half years, they have paid $480M loans to their customers with a default rate of 30%.
Ashkan Parpanchi, head of Blubank’s call center, said in his presentation at this ceremony that Blu’s 160-person team covers 17,500 phone calls and 7,500 online chats daily.
Farzad Razmahang, the manager of Blubank’s bank card issuing team, said at the ceremony that more than 12 million Blucards have been issued to date. According to him, Blu started with three colors, blue, red and green, and now has more colors for its customers. Razmahang said that blue color has been the most popular color of Blubank among customers. According to him, the average delivery time of Blucard in Tehran is 2 days. “We use laser technology to print our cards,” he said.
Sadaf Baktashi, Blu’s authentication manager, stated in this ceremony that now the information verification process is done in 15 minutes to open an account.
In the continuation of this ceremony, Mahdi Momeni, the CEO of AzkiVam, spoke about his experience of working with Blubank. He stated that they have paid loans of $33M to their users through Blubank. Momeni stated that 300 stores use Blu credit every week through AzkiVam.
It should be noted that 430,000 junior users (under 18 years old) are Blubank customers, and the new Blujunior cards shown in the image below will soon be available to Blubank users.
At the end of this ceremony, a campaign lottery of $2M for everyone, $200,000 for one Blubank was held.
