Following the temporary disruption of SnappPay services during the “Discounted Friday” campaign, the company announced that only 20 stores were affected by this disruption.
According to Ideaagency, in its announcement, SnappPay stated that it had prepared the technical preparation for hosting users in the “Discounted Friday” campaign by upgrading its infrastructure months ago, and wrote: “Unfortunately, in the early hours of Friday November 29, due to the tremendous traffic of users, the SnappPay platform was disrupted for one hour and 13 minutes. “With the removal of the disturbance, SnappPay was in a stable state and the service process remained stable throughout the day.”
SnappPay announced: “More than 3,000 online and offline stores have offered more than 1 million products in the discounted Friday campaign. “According to the planned arrangements, the vast majority of stores had a stable service during Friday and only less than 20 stores were disrupted.”
Also, according to SnappPay’s announcement, “All products with special discounts were available to users within the announced time frames, and only 5 items out of 400 items with special discounts were not available at the announced time due to disruption in the seller’s technical infrastructure.”
The company emphasized that 5 items that could not be supplied due to the disruption, will be available today (Saturday, November 30) on SnappPay’s main page.
At the end of this announcement, it is stated: “At SnappPay, we consider the accuracy of users in facing our business approaches as a tool for growth, and we are grateful for all the reflections provided by users regarding the “Discounted Friday” campaign.”
