Tohid Aliashrafi, with more than a decade of experience in the startup ecosystem, was appointed as the CEO of Alibaba Travel Company.
According to Iran digital economy annotation, Aliashrafi had the experience of managing the marketing of Alibaba and Jabama companies until 2019, and after that he worked as the vice president of marketing at the level of Alibaba Group. He is also the CEO of Brandist advertising agency. Membership in the board of directors of Alibaba Group and marketing consulting to more than 70 different businesses are among his records.
Alibaba has set the record for online sales of tourism services, with 2 services per second, and stands at the leadership platform of Iran’s tourism market, but it still has a long way to go in order to create a worthy travel experience for all groups of society.
