Internet Disruption Confirmed
According to the IDEA, Infrastructure Communications Company confirms a 35-minute disruption in the internet services of Tehran province and declares that the issue has been resolved.
On the morning of November 18, users reported an inability to access external services, while domestic services remained unaffected.
The public relations department of the Infrastructure Communications Company stated that the disruption was related to a disturbance in the Tehran province transmission network. According to the company, the disruption occurred between 9:45 AM and 10:25 AM, affecting both domestic and international traffic for the country’s operators.
In their official statement, the company assured that necessary measures were taken, and the network has returned to normal. At present, there is no reported disturbance in the infrastructure communication network.
Meanwhile, an alleged hacker group has claimed responsibility for hacking Iran’s telecommunication infrastructure, causing a nationwide internet outage. However, this claim remains unverified, and the Infrastructure Communications Company’s statement makes no reference to this allegation.
